I just got taken on a work at home stuffing envelopes scam is there any legitimate work at home oppurtinites?

I am disabled and it is very hard for me to get a job so I thought I'd try a work at home stuffing envelopes but i got taken on it along with $45 is there any work at home opportunities that are legal and legit and does anyone have any advise on how to stop these scams that take money from poor dumb suckers like me
